The gym and cafeteria turned into a veritable wonderland of jump rope stations. On top of the constant changing stations, the school's coach blasted such hits as "Surfin' On Top of the World" by the Beach Boys to keep things interesting.
And in true Mia form that has existed since she was in the womb, her body was incapable of holding still for any length of time while the music was playing. If she wasn't completing the jump rope task of the given station, she was bouncing and shaking her stuff to the beat.
Fernando and I are certain that she is destine to make her way to the Knight Mangnum building someday to sing into a mirror at random intervals and step ball change her way through most menial tasks. (for non zoobies, just know that she is a performance major candidate for sure.)
Tiago and Talia found joy in the music and plastic cones and someone's stroller.

There is nothing cuter than a Kindergarten student. Mia definitely has the rope swinging down, and the jumping down, and the dancing way down. The only part left is to get them all together. I laughed and laughed. Loved the swing the rope and jump at the same time pattern. Then no problem, when the rope get to your feet, you simply step over it, Yea!! and way to go Mia. Love
how come mia and the other kids are swinging the jump rope backwards? is that how they were being told to do it or something?
i wonder if espn shows jump roping championships. i saw the dart throwing championships on there once, so why not jump rope? lol
Those videos are so cute! I used to LOVE jump rope for life (it was called jump rope for heart back in my day).

Super cute. Mia is like Brielle dancin' to the music :) Side note - Did you ever see the amazing jump roping kids during a BYU basketball halftime show? They came again this year and are seriously AMAZING. The entire crowd gets into it because they are so good.
