Adoraboll Bares and $90 Toy Airplanes

Today was insane. I attempted my first solo garage sale and was grateful that Lord of the Flies didn't occur. Starting at 7 am, in my pj's, I was inundated with professional yard salers. Talis was naked and waving at all the incoming strangers. Thanks heavens (multiple times today) Mia stepped up and was mom for the day. The kids ate whatever they could find which happened to be carb heavy in the form of graham crackers, cheese crackers, leftover cake. . .yeah that is going to help them feel full.

In the end, I still had a lot of things. I regretted very little and made the money I was hoping for to buy some furniture for the kids' room.

Funny side note (as if nude Talia wasn't funny enough): the kids were promised all the proceeds of the sale of their items. Many items were sacrificed for the cause. They even tried gouging the people with ridulously overpriced items. $90 was just a little steep for some of the folks and yet the cute advertising of Mia to her oversized "Bare" didn't lure anyone either.

Hilarious! Love the naked toddler bit, because really, who hasn't that happened to?

That is super cute about the bear! I did a garage sale solo in that neighborhood too, and it was soooo crazy! I know you felt. They arrive before you even have your stuff out to sale. It's insane!

May you never lose you willingness to stretch out there and do something you've never done before - wow, a garage sale.

while you had THAT bare going on we had our own little "bare" going on simultaneously (and I know you know what I mean so I won't elaborate)...

CUTE!

My wife collects bears, and I thought it would never end. Now she has so many she is giving them away rather than keeping them up.

Guess that means I can spend more time with my grand kids teaching them how to make the best paper airplane I can!
