We have been excited about living in Texas since the possibility was talked about nearly 2 years ago. With all the house hunting and furniture shopping along with staying in a one bedroom TLF, the kids are feeling a bit like rabid/caged animals. When we remember what it was like to be the veritable luggage, we head out for some Texas Fun. Some of our favorites (not in any particular order):
Story Time at The Twig Bookstore with Miss Anastasia who has the best version of "If Your Happy and You Know It"
San Antonio Zoo (members) and Sea World (soon to join)
Playgrounds on base that are covered by big tent like things
Friends' houses
Food like Rudy's and Taco Cabanana and Cha Chos
and so much more

Yeah for fun in TX! I am impressed with all your adventures. No one looks too hot yet! I, too, am grateful for the playgrounds with the canopies. Someone was thinking.
